I lost (quite stupid) my 2 yr old Curve. Purchased a Storm2 and used the restore to load the Storm.
All my contacts and the pictures in the device (not many) were restored but no records of memo's or pictures on the media card (where I stored pictures) were restored.
When I look at my BB backup configuration the clickbox to "backup media card" IS checked, which would indicate to me that my pictures should be in that backup somewhere.
I've never heard of a version of Desktop Manager that could back up a media card. How exactly is the option worded? My Desktop Manager version 5.01 has an option to "Backup on-board device memory," which is not the same as the Media card.
