my contacts have always been saved in all previous o/s installs, but this time all are lost, any ideas on how to retrieve. during the upgrade my computer said usb error, not able to read, but i just disconnected and did a battery pull and everything was saved (apps), media , but not contacts. any help would be much appreciated

Not sure about the Storm, but what I would do it try to restore a backup from before the contact fiasco. maybe that will work?

Well your contacts may be there. Go to address book > menu > filters and make sure you uncheck everything there.

If nothing shows then, go to options > status > menu > show databases and see the contacts one, is anything there?

i did a back up after upgrading to 86 but it wasnt saved, and under databases i cannot find contacts. also i cannot easily find my address book, where is it? thanx for the help
