Is anyone else with significant issues pressing the corner of the screens planning to ask for a replacement (shim under battery notwithstanding)? I saw it mentioned earlier, with some question that there might be differnt components in some. My thumb is actually sore on the left from the above difficulties.

Yes they are sending me a new phone but it may take till the 15th to get it. for now I have a bus. card on the battery and it works good.
