Just got the Storm, previous Curve owner... Loving it so far. One question about editing while typing.
Let's say I'm composing an email or sms text or something. And I mis-spelled a word somewhere down the line. What is the easiest way to scroll over to that word, and fix the error?
With the Curve it was simple to trackball over to the word, backspace, and correct.
With the Storm, how is this done? I found I can click on the letter(s) I need to correct, but it's hit and miss whether I get the right spot or not... Is there a better/easier way?
Couple of options.. Set your storm to have auto correction.. Can be annoying if you use slang.. Or have if you have spell check enabled the word will be underlined.. Simply click the misspelled word and it gives you possible matching/intended words to select from..
The video is very helpful. If you go to Options > Screen/Keyboard, you can change the "Hover Period" to make the outlined box appear faster. The lower the "Hover Period," the faster the editing box will appear when you hover.
