that reads MY NUMBER: area code then phone number

Have been racking my brain trying to remove the number or edit it

Dial ##000000 and press send. Where it says Mobile Directory Number, change it to whatever number you want or don't want to show. Then press the BB button and select Save. Allow the phone to reboot.

Another question. On that same screen, the same number that i was editing was on 2 diffrent line. If I edit that number will i hurt my storm.
I bought this unit used and unlocked to use on t mobile. working perfect, but the owners original # was still in the phones memeory.
