Any one know what kind of solvent or what ever I could use to remove the ugly a$$ Verizon logo from my battery door?

It's a rather subtle logo, especially for a verizon phone. I take it you switched the service to AT&T or T-Mobile?

Edit: yeah just realized its paint and isn't embedded, you could probably wipe it off with a solution of some kind

No I have always been a VZW customer but I have ALWAYS hated having my phone branded! I don't know why!
It is subtle but I think it would look nice without it. I guess worse case I will just have to order a non-branded replacement!

I will have to try goo gone. I have already tried Oops! but it did nothing!

Get a sugar cube and rub it back and forth on the logo with slight pressure. It should come off. This is how these logos are taken off the plastic on cell phones without damaging the finish underneath. It should work the same way on the metal cover, but you're on your own on the damage part. Word to the wise... rub with the grain of the back cover (up/down - vertically), not side to side against it.

Goo Gone will probably work, but lighter fluid gets damn near any time of paint like that off. Might wanna test either solution to see if it discolors the battery door first though. You don't want any of the black to rub off.
