What amazes me is why would any Verizon store stock anything less than 100 for such an anticipated launch.

There were a good 50-60 people lined up at the paramus store. That place is still packed. They must have had over 200 phones to sell today. At least one store got it right.

They told us yesterday that they had "Thirty" units but, when we got there this morning, they told us the had "Thirteen". There were some seriously cold and unhappy folks in line.

There were probably 40 folks in line when the store opened at 9am. They only let 10 people at a time into the store. The rest continued to stand outside in the cold.

    I got mine.

Anyone get the dock? Our store didn't have one.

To hawk them to 2 other of the 58 people.

This has to be the dumbest launch I've heard in a long time.

There were 7 ppl in line when I showed up 20 minutes before open. I waited in my car until 7:55. Everyone got phones, including ppl that walked in at 8:30.

I told a coworker that there was no need to wait in line at the Alexandria, VA and I was right.

I got mine a circuit city a hour before the doors opened. They had 3 units and I got one of them. There was some pissed off people outside when I walked out. I hurried up and got in my car and left. Looked like a angry mob gathering.

Anyway my store in Florence, KY had 35 phones, I got there at 6am and by 7:30 there was about 30-40 people lined up outside. But I got 1 so im happy!!!!! Also after i got mine i called best buy to cancel my pre order and get the 50 back, they said good thing because they were only shipped 8 phones!

I arrived in line today at 5:45 and was 22 person, our store only had 30, and then supposedly another 30 arriving sometime later this morning. However, they were taking orders and gauranteed overnight shipping, perhaps on the other 30 that were arriving. They handed out vouchers at 6:20 a.m. It actually went really smoothly, this morning.

I had to wait for my wife to get off of work and drive drive through a blizzard here in South Bend, IN to get mine. The store we went to had only 10 phones and the dude in front of me was trying to snag two, number 9 and number 10!! Luckily number 10 was for his boss who he couldnt buy for since they didnt share an account, so I got the last one!! Thank goodness, it was cold and I didnt want to go slash his tires in the snow

Our standalone store had a line of 40 when they opened at 7 AM, and they had 20 phones. I got there at 8:30 and was about to order one shipped next day (Saturday delivery) when I decided to check out our Circuit City. At 9 AM, I was second in line for a 10 AM opening with 10 phones. The line grew to 10 by 10, and they had turned several people away by 10:05. Also, they said our regional warehouse had started the day with 25,000 devices for direct ships, and they were down to 9,000 by 10:30 AM.

I got mine, and I am happy. Never having had a "smart phone" before, much less a Blackberry, I'm experiencing some growing pains while learning the OS, but I'm already FAR more connected than I've ever been before. I've sent and received emails, texts, and private messages (forums) from one device in 2 hours of ownership...convenience rules!
