J/K anyone else have an issue with 2 or less bars, when I first got my storm I was talkin to my bro to let him know I have a better phone then him now (he has a curve 8330 so at least bb) and it dropped him like 3 times and constantly I have only 2 bars or less. Sometimes my wife calls me a ton of times and I dont get it...dead zone??? Bad phone??? dunno false advertising...dunno

Ive seen a lot of threads of people complaining about the storms reception. I think peole are hoping its fixed with a os upgrade.

I have occasional problems with reception dropping off in the middle of a call. The audio will break up completely, usually for a few seconds, and then come back. More than once it's been linked to the device receiving an email, but sometimes it's not. I came from the 8830 which never had this problem, so it's not an issue with cell towers. The bars are the same as the 8830, usually from 2 to 5 depending on where I am.
Most of the time it's fine. This is intermittent.

I have a reception problem ticks me off. My 8830 had 3 bars constantly at my house my wife pearl has 2 bars always. My storm goes from full bar to no bars to two bars it is crap. Hope they fix it.

I've noticed it shows low signal a lot but I've yet to not be able to call or message or anything due to service. No dropped calls and I always had issues before. Maybe my neighbor got the network extender. Lol!

Just got the STORM on Saturday 2/14/09 and I have noticed some reception issues as well.

Have never had any issues with any other cell phones in the same areas. This is my first BlackBerry so I have not other BB's to compare it to, but cell phones did a heck of a lot better.

I'm thinking this may go back to the store today. I can't take the breaking up and dropping of calls.
