is there a way to make the screen light up when u receive a txt, email, etc.

and when in bedside mode is there a way to silent email,text alerts, and maybe just keep the ringer on?

Try using the phone profile.

Set the ringer to Phone Calls only to silent emails texts etc.

As for making the screen light up I don't believe you can.
