Trying to active a replacement 9530 and it won't accept service books. Three phone calls and two hours later and VZW is still scratching their heads.

you need to change the PIN and MEID on the BIS site, after you activate with *228, send, option 3.

Just got off the phone with RIM and VZW. Four hours into trouble shooting and they tell me there is a wide spread problem of sending service books at this time with no estimated time for a resolution.

It was REAL slow even around 8:00 this morning. It took 20 minutes to get my 1XEV connection and browser icon back this morning. Guess it finally stopped working totally. Hopefully they get things fixed soon.

i just did a verizon activation and not all the service books went through... hope they get it fixed soon!
