I was using quickpull without any problems until upgrading from .75 to .109. Now I get the following popup/error:

Would you like to grant QuickPull Scheduler Trusted Application status?
Doesn't matter what I select since, at the time time I get the following error:

Something went wrong. Aborting. See device log for more details.
Anyone know what this is about?

Agreed. Haven't had any problems with Quickpull. I didn't have to reinstall it either.

are you reinstalling from the same copy, or d/l and new copy for install? Could be that you have a corrupted file you are trying to install....

Not sure I am reading the device log correctly - but one entry is in bold that says "E ApplicationTrustLevelManager - EIMI" and when I click on that heading it says "error" on the Severity line.

Try enabling the compatibility mode for it (options>advanced>applications>highlight (do not open) Quick Pull>BB Menu>enable compatibility mode (or disable if it already says enable).

Just made it much harder to hit the yes button.

    But otherwise same error.

You said it happens with both softreset and quickpull?

If so, it may be that your .109 install is corrupted. I would wipe and reinstall.

    Yes - happens with both.

If that's the case I'll live without QP until the official upgrade comes out.

I do get the reported notification that DM wants to upgrade certain core applications (since .109 upgrade). I always hit cancel since I am worried about it reverting me to .75. Could that be related?

Try this: BB Options> Advanced Options> Application> "HIGHLIGHT" (don't click) Phone> Click BB Button>Choose Edit Default Properties> Set all options to Allow

I had that same problem previously, after doing this it worked like it's supposed to.

    Hope that helps.

There are two issues that QuickPull often has.

One is the firewall. When enabled, it has a tendency to screw with the app.

The other is the DEFAULT PERMISSION SETTINGS.

Just loaded quickpull, and appleberry theme went away. Not even in theme section anymore to reactivate.

There is a fix out there for this. Forgive me for not searching for it because I'm not on a PC. If I remember correctly it has something to do with the email permissions being in conflict. Anyway I did that fix and its worked fine ever since.

I have the same issues as Gahoo. I've tried all the suggestions above, with no success. Any other ideas?

    "E ApplicationTrustLevelManager - EMI"

To get Quick Pull to work:

Options/Advanced Options/Applications highlight "Email Setup Application" click Blackberry button and select "Edit Default Permissions", set everything to "Allow" do the same thing with the Quick Pull application to ensure it is all set to Allow.
