It simulates a battery pull. It rocks cause you can schedule a 'pull' once a day in the middle of the night.

You can get it in the CB app store. It is free as long as you get the "lite" edition. I'm not sure how much the pro edition runs, but the lite version should be everything you need.

Be careful--I downloaded the lite version from the bb apps store and kept getting fatal exception errors. Uninstalled, reinstalled, then did a battery pull. Nothing helped so I finally deleted it. Try quicklaunch. $4.99 and I would've gladly paid twice that.

    Enjoy your Storm!

Why does everyone seem to have problems with quick pull operating of the new 8530 BlackBerry Curve?

It was a great app on my Curve, but I can't seem to get it to work on my Storm. Back to actually pulling the cover and battery out.

I have been using QuickPull Free for a year & a half, no problems whatsoever. Have used it with OS .65, .75, .148, .328, & now .591.
QuickPull version 3.7.2 is the latest, available through Appworld.
