    The wipe function restores your device to factory condition. It does not erase the OS. JL_Cmder erases everything so that theres nothing on your device.

    From what I gather - JL_Cmdr does a different type of wipe.

    It is the preferred method when upgrading to a new OS so far as I am concerned.
