Just upgraded to .148 and noticed that there is no longer an option to have the browser in the options be "blackberry browser" now only option is "internet browser".

Wondering if the rest of you have found this out to be the case and if RIM took that option out?

"Browser" has always been Internet browser. You are thinking of "browser identification" which is a little further down the page which lets you choose BB, firefox or IE

I believe that the "Blackberry browser" is available only when you are on BES.
You just removed your phone from BES, this is why that option is no longer available

In fact, it is the same browser. It just the connection that change. When using "Blackberry Browser", you are connected viad the your BES server, when you use "internet browser" you connect via BIS.

Why would you want the BB browser for a storm?

Thats the great thing about the storm is that you don't need to always view webpages in the mobile format.
