I dont think so. One year from the date you bought the phone is my understanding, I don't even think they will guarantee you a new phone unless you go into a store and get the replacement right then.... and good luck with that....

If you happen to be canadian and baught it from futureshop and got their 10/month warrenty plan then everytime you get your phone repleaced they basically return the old one and sell you a new one...so in that case I would think your 1 year would restart again. I replaced mine and thats how they did it.

Yea, dust under the screen is covered under warranty, because its a manufacturing defect.
What they are saying is not true. When you get a replacement phone due to defects that require you to need a replacement, your one year warranty applies as if you purchased a new phone. How would it be fair otherwise? This is in my experience so if these ppl had a diff one I dunno why that would be

I mean if I ended up needing to get a replacment phone on the 11th month of my warrenty, your telling me I only have a month to see if this phone is a good one or not before I'm screwed? That didn't make sence. I think the warrenty is good for another year after getting a replacment.
This is not the case. I manage the wireless devices for the company I work for. I call and have devices replaced under warranty for our users all the time. The warranty remains from the date of purchase for any replacement devices. They do not adjust the warranty date forward when you get a replacement device. This is one reason to get the more expensive insurance plan because it extends the manufacturers warranty another year.
Actually, Verizon provides an additional 90 days warranty on all replaced devices. If you do it on the 11'th month, then you get an extra 2 months. :)
If that additional 90 days doesn't go beyond the original warranty, then you don't get anything extra.
I work tech and warranty support for att...it stays the same as the first device or 90 days whichever is longer. And they are refurb phones
