That's what my phone says when I try to connect it to my computer.

I have not found any threads that relate to this problem (unless I am using incorrect search terms).

I uploaded the blackberry desktop disk to my computer when I bought my phone. I've been trying to figure out how to back up my contacts and such, but it seems as though my phone won't communicate with my computer.

I am a total blackberry newb, and any info would be appreciated. Do I have something set funny on my phone? I have a blackberry storm2 9550, my service provider is Bell Canada (if that makes any difference).

Oh, also, anything I put on my phone (contacts, photos) seems to save to my device and not the memory card. Is there a way to save things to the memory card by default or is that a bad idea? (I thought it would be worthwhile in case I wanted to import data to my computer easier or if I switched phones down the road)
