So I've updated every OS release since the phone came out with 0 problems but this one has me stumped. I downloaded the installer from Megaupload, I verified the file size is 125. I don't have any other versions installed on my PC. The installer goes through without a problem but it doesn't show up in the list in DM. I've uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled, rebooted, still nothing.

Any ideas?

Did you delete the vendor file?

You can also try loading from the Loader.exe instead of DM.

Both the vendor file and loader.exe are located here:
c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader

I'm having similar issues I think. I downloaded the file fine, but I keep getting the window saying that the Desktop Manager is running and can't install until it's closed.

Except my Desktop Manager is already closed.

Ideas?

I didn't delete jack squat and it's fine.. cept the whole battery running out in half a day... We'll see.. I may be going back to .85
