I'm sorry in advance.

My wife just recieved her phone. I am trying to install .132 on it. But it is not being recognized by apploader or DM.

Restarted the comp each time I tried to install.

Gave up and went to the .122 Bell leak, same problem.

Went to .109 leak, same problem.

I have had storm since Nov. Been a BB user since '07.

I've done numerous installs, upgrades and turned many friends onto crackberry.

Confused. Please help.

Did you delete the vendor.xml file in the app folder? That's probably why it's not being recognized. Go to Computer>C:>Program Files>Common Files>Research In Motion>App loader and delete the vendor file. Then retry your install.

When you plug it into DM does it show your pin at the bottom left screen?

I think I may have spoken too soon.

It is reading the OS. But it doesn't seem like the normal install. I know that sounds weird, but I will keep you posted after this goes through the install process.

Make sure you disconnect from the internet before you start app loader.
