Hey guys I have experimented with all of the leaked operating systems so far and about a week ago I downloaded and installed .141 on my phone. QuickLaunch, which I hadn't read at the time, did not work with .141 and it is my most used application. B/c I use QuickLaunch so much I tried to downgrade, but I was having problems doing so. Then, I decided to just downgrade to .75, the preferred downgrade, through desktop manager and delete all the other operating systems on my computer. Then, I immediately downloaded .132 again and tried to upgrade back to that but that's where the problem sets in. My desktop manager nor apploader will recongize the new software at all. I have tried to do it over and over a numerous amount of times. Can anyone help b/c I know all you crackberry fans out there can't go back to the .75 OS after having all the new and improved OS's that have leaked our way. Please help! Thanks in advance!

Try deleting the vendor xml file. It's in the same spot as the launcher, C:/Programs:/Common Files/Research In Motion/AppLoader.

Did you reboot your computer? If you have then try deleting and reinstalling DM and make sure you reboot your computer.

Also, sometimes when you remove a Hybred, pieces are left behind, either in the Register or in the directory where OS are stored when you install them. Try looking to see if anything is there:

    Program Files/Common Files/Research in Motion/Shared/Loader Files

If you have removed all OS's except for the one you are trying to install then you should see only one folder with the name of the OS you are trying to install. Delete any others after checking in Control Panel>Add/Remove Prograns to be sure there is not more than one BlackBerry Device Software listing. If there is more than one, then you still have other OS on your computer.
