I just got the storm and love it.
One glitch, though. I can't seem to control the sound notifications when I get an email. I always get a loud notification no matter how I set it. I have even tried to set it to silent but it still gives me a loud chime every time an email is received.
Any suggestions??

Have you clicked the sound icon?

Sound Icon >> Ringtones & Alerts >> Messages >> E-mail. You can set volume and what sound you want it to be from there.

Yes, I have all the notifications for mail set on silent. It still gives a loud beep when I get an email.

I had the overall sound profile set to LOUD.
Apparently that overrides any other choices I made.
I set it to NORMAL, and now it works fine.
