My problem is that I do not always receive an alert when I get a text message/email. My phone is set to ring on every message but seems to be selective on when it will ring. I am running .109 and the phone out of the holster, I will only notice a message by the red led that flashes.
Has anyone else experienced this, or have a solution?

It happens to me on rare occasions but a battery pull cures it.

if you're using one of the notifiers, like lightspeed, it doesn't always sound. apparently some of the notifiers don't always work; i guess its a known issue on all software versions.

if you have custom phone ringtones for contacts, make sure you've set alerts for the messages as well. if you dont, the alert defaults.

also, if you are using a built in profile, create a custom one. That fixed other sound issues for other users.
