Try replacing these files in the .151 directory with files from your previous OS's JAVA folder.

    net_rim_plazmic_math.cod
    net_rim_plazmic_mediaengine.cod
    net_rim_plazmic_mediaengine_bundle.cod
    net_rim_plazmic_mediaengine_pme02.cod
    net_rim_plazmic_mediaengine_pme12.cod
    net_rim_plazmic_mediaengine_smil_00.cod
    net_rim_plazmic_mediaengine_smil_format.cod
    net_rim_plazmic_mediaengine_smil_mms.cod
    net_rim_plazmic_themereader.cod

To make life easier, go to the old OS's JAVA folder, search within that folder and search for plazmic, then select all, then copy and paste to the new .151 java folder and paste and when it asks to overwrite confirm yes.

Please someone try this as I don't have a 9500 and I haven't tried putting the JAVA files on my phone yet.

It is possible for 9530s who use the java folder and do not replace these files with .148 or any other OS to become affected with theme issues as well.
Note I said possible, mileages vary and you may just end up okay.

They would probably have the same issues as the problem is most likely not with the .sfi but the plazmic COD files.
