get rid of all the useless grayed out buttons when you go into the dial pad, and just make the dial pad bigger and shove allthe symbols to one side.

In both portrait and landscape.

There is zero point in keepin all the useless boxes wasting space, especialy when you have a screen thats 3 inches wide, space is a huge issue.

Not getting your post. I can't even get a dial pad in landscape. Only portrait. What exactly are you talking about?

When you enter a password in a site that automatically goes to a keypad, The keypad is pressed to the left, and sym. keys are all over the place.
I know what you're talking about.. let me see if i can get a capture.

now THAT makes sense. even still, the kepad in that instance is really no different than when typing on the normal keyboard and you choose 123 or SYM.

I get the IDEA, but not really sure what the exact problem is since the typing experience wouldn't change...
