i have storm with broken screen, computer registers the device when i connect, but i believe in order to pull data from the phone, i need to be able to acknowledge connection from phone, correct? any way to access info on the phone from a laptop and usb connection without being able to use the phone at all? phone takes charge, but no ability to read or touch the screen.

if your device can connect to bb Desktop Manager without problem then you can try using Magic Berry software by MenaStep try Google to locate the software.
