I bought two unlocked blackberry storms from ebay and everything works but the internet. No instant messaging, no browsing, no fun! I have a carrier called Appalachian Wireless. I have searched and searched through the forums with no luck. I know someone out there can crack this problem. Thanks

If you are meaning if the phone works on my carrier then yes. I can call, recieve calls, text but cannot do anything that requires the internet. Is that what you meant? I am new to the whole unlocked phone thing.

Yes. I activated the phone yesterday and got the blackberry data plan. I could use the internet fine on my old Blackberry Pearl.

Ok did you switch from another BB device? If so login into the BIS and change the pin and esn to the new device.

Yes but I already gave that one away. I knew I should have kept it. Also, when I try to connect to email it says "Your device had a problem connecting to server"

Doesnt matter login into the BIS and you will see where you can change device you need to put the new device info in and it will change.....then resend service books

my storm isnt working either today.. im on verizon in NY.... i came on here to see if anyone else had a problem with internet today maybe our problems are linked... i dunno its getting me pissed off!!! my google maps isnt working either its just saying its unavalible

No the op is in KY and app wireless does not have a BIS server looks like a 3rd party that is running BES for their somehow cuz there plan is 49.99

Call APP wireless and inform them you need to do a device swap on the BB Data Plane then give them the pin and esn
