I officially updated my BB Storm to .148. Everything went smoothly except that there is not a choice to compose a MMS message. The button just simply isn't there. And under OPTIONS, MMS SETTINGS is no longer there. I did notice my service books were gone from my previous firmware.

Other than the MMS problem, the .148 update is possibly the best update for the Storm so far.

are you missing the mms/sms icon? did you try selecting "messages" then select bb menu? it should be there as an option.

    To separate sms/email
    Messages> bb menu> Option> General Option> sms and email inboxes > seperate.

I don't seem to have that as an option. I go to Option> but there is no General Option for me to select.

No, sadly not. I just got the phone about a month ago and I want the data plan but since I am leaving in 3 weeks for the military, it would kinda be pointless.

thats odd. Verizon wont allow you to activate the storm unless you have a data plan.

This is what I heard from a friend of mine. Before I updated the phone last night, T-mobile had previously sent me some MMS service books because I had some "sending" issues. I think I might give the T-mobile RIM CSR a phone call today to see if they know what is going on.
