Sorry if this the tenth time somebody's asked this, but I want to know which Verizon plan to get that will include unlimited internet and text messaging at the cheapest, most reasonable price.
You want the Nationwide Select plan: 450 minutes, $59.99
* Unlimited Anytime Minute plans include unlimited calling with anyone on any network in the U.S.
* Data sent or received (incl. Mobile Web advertising) is $1.99/MB. Learn More
* Unlimited Text, Picture, Video & Instant Messaging
* Access to Mobile Web
* Unlimited Night & Weekend Minutes
* Unlimited National IN Calling
* No Domestic Long Distance Charges
* 3-Way Calling
* Voice Mail
* Caller ID
And then the *E-mail and web for Blackberry - $29.99/month
Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the BlackBerry® Nationwide Email 450 plan ($79.99) and selecting the 450 Voice plan plus the $29.99 BlackBerry email plan? Is the BlackBerry® Nationwide Email 450 just a $10 ripoff, or is there something missing if you just get the voice and the email plan separately?
I'll answer myself... just talked with a VZW agent, and he said the only difference is the obvious one: you save $10 by not bundling the two (BlackBerry® Nationwide Email 450). Very odd.
I'm able to get to it by going through the "Upgrade your phone" option in my Verizon account, then selecting the Storm (might have to go through a "show discounts" screen), then on the "Select a new calling plan below" screen, I select the first option ($39.99 voice). Might have to go through another screen to confirm the calling plan, then come to a screen listing all of the data options. The $29.99 email plan is one of them. Hope that helps.
There are 2 BB data plans as far as I know. There is a 44.99 plan for corporate users and a 29.99 plan for the rest of us.
There is a third one that is useless but it is there none the less. It is 24.99 and you are limited to 10MB of data usage. 1.99 per MB if you go over that.
