    No problem, there might be an easier way but that's how I do it. Here is a different way if you like to do it this way

    SMS And MMS > Compose > MMS > Menu Key > Attach Picture

    Either way will get the job done.

    I don't have the Storm but on other BB's I've owned you can go to Messages, hit the menu button, select Compose MMS (not SMS Text - that is limited to just text). In there you can hit menu and add sound/pic what ever it is you are sending. Probably the same way on the Storm.
