If I get a PDF file in my email, I can download and open it with no problems.

What app is that? And how can I run it on its own?

On a side note, is there an application that will let me create a button link to a file. Like a PDF that I regulary reference?

I'm not sure I understand your question, but you owe it to yourself to check out DataViz' premium offerings Doc 2 Go and PDF To Go. Our Storms came equipped with the baseline offerings called Docs To Go. Get some throw-down .doc and use your BB button to request a trial of their premium version ($50 plus change if you like what you see after 30 days). Once you get this trial going, do it again to request a trial of PDF To Go. You will find that you can deal with Office files with/without emailing. Enjoy !

I use the combination of repligo and quick launch to open a pdf. Works really well. Both programs have been discussed on cberry a lot.
