Partially Resolved Chinese Input but can't get Pinyin (including SMS, no more ??'s)
- I've been playing around with different combinations of Chinese files and OS's for like an entire day now.
Apparently if you install .328 (official .328), then use Lydricial's hybrid for .428 and leave everything as is you'll be able to get Wubihua to work (and it doesn't change into ???'s when you use SMS), however the Pinyin input doesn't show up as an option for input.
Also, for some reason I can't seem to get Pinyin input to work along with the Wubihua and any .419/.425/.428 OS. I've used the .328 and then added files from zip in the link and managed to get Pinyin to work under .328 (although the problem with that is that it turns into ???'s during SMS and the Wubihua breaks on me (the keyboard that comes up isn't correct)). Also, when I try to use the same .216 files (I used for Pinyin along with a .419/.425/.428 OS I end up getting a "App Error 523" when I boot up my phone.
I've attached the files I used from .216 (they actually come from a different thread for how to install Korean output, although the person included the Chinese files as well; and yes I am also copying the CJX.alx file over). Additionally I've tried manually adding the COD files using BBSAK but it has the same effect (either creates a App Error 523 or nothing happens and Pinyin still doesn't show up as an option for input) Also, I used the official .419 and Lydricial's hybrid installer for .419/.425/.428 along with the official .328 as the other files I've been working with.
Does anyone have any idea how to get .419/.425/.428 to work with Pinyin input (and it doesn't change into ???'s)? No matter how hard I try I always end up with a App Error 523 (or any files I add/change doesn't seem to actually create an effect on the Input selection choices) Any help would be GREATLY appreciated
