Yeah, one time I stopped at a liquor store and a crack wh0re fired a .380 at me and it stopped the bullet and my phone still worked.
Seriously, it's the best case I've ever had. Dropped my phone way too many times to count and it's never gotten a scratch. I also like how the rubber outer casing keeps it from slipping around if you set it on the dash or your thigh.
anyone else? no FD/PD/EMS storys?
Anyone else?
I have had the Commuter and have "upgraded" to the Defender. I love the defender b/c it covers more of the phone and has the holster b/c I hate carrying it in my pocket. The Commuter is good if you don't want the holster. Awesome protection, the Defender case covers both the touchscreen and the buttons at the bottom as well as shields the speaker from dust and stuff sticking to the magnet inside. The Commuter doesn't have this, but comes with a sticky cover for the touchscreen. I have dropped my phone numerous times and it always comes out of it without a problem. Recommended!!
I used the cover they had at Verizon that looked like a tire. Did just fine. Came off easily if you got tired of it.
I've finally dropped (quit using) this case. The way they redesigned it for the S2 is not working out for me. The phone case itself still gives superior protection, but it has to, as the phone now falls out of the new holster about 5 to 10 times per day. If you bump it on anything, out it goes. Please don't post questions asking if I'm sure it's fully snapped/seated into the holster...it is. Even lost the phone once in a parking lot as it fell out of the holster when I exited my truck. Luckily, I found it laying near where I had parked. Can't handle it any more. It's a great case with a very poorly designed holster. I've gone back to my leather BB holster, though I just ordered the Siedo holster to give it a try.
