I installed Lyricydal's hybrid on my 9530 and I wanted to switch out the radios. I have used every unoffical release. And I cannot remember which was the best.

Agreed, .141 signal strength was awful. .132 constantly switches from EVDO to 1X. I used to be able to drive all the way home with Slacker on and it would never hiccup. With these two radio's, I'm lucky to go 10 mins without it buffering for 45-60 secs before it picks back up. I rememeber 106 or 109 was good but not sure it works properly with the new .cod's from 141 and 5.0.093.

    HELP!!!

try .109 or .113, if you notice there is an info button on the radio swap that breaksdown all of the os radios. It differs by device as well

One of those has the large keyboard, which I hate. Can't remember which one 113 IIRC

122 is not bad. I am experimenting with 109 radio with 141 hybrid now, per the advice of rec7ify. It holds the memory quite consistently throughout the day

I believe the . 132 radio is good.... That's what I am currently using for my radio. .122 is also pretty good.

I've found .90s radio code the best for me because it doesn't switch from EDGE to edge constantly, and the signal strength is pretty good. Of course, my two pennies in this situation truly only matters if you're using an unlocked Storm on AT&T.

I would also like to know which one is the best. I upgraded immediatly from .132 to .141 and nothing in between. I am a bb noob to the core but I believe "radio" terms the phone correct? My signal strength is aweful and today while trying to load bb maps it took forever and I just did a bat pull to reset everything. Worked after that. Also how to you revert just the radio back to a lower OS?

I've been reading the forums for quite a while but I've never seen anything on this, but I've never looked either. I will search right now.

Glad to see it working for you!!

What part of SD are you from? Lived right off Genesee Ave for a few years (Right by UTC). Also lived in Clairmont and RPQ!
