I have read many times about people saying that an OS upgrade has improved the call quality. I can understand some positive effects, but to what extent can an OS upgrade really have on hardware? I have an issue with the earpiece on the Storm (tried 2 now) - it is not necessarily very clear (and I have done the trebble adjustments). Just has a little too much of the "fuzzy" or "cracking" effects during a call. Is it just a crappy earpiece or can a future OS upgrade possibly help?

I kno EXACTLY what you mean the quality is fuzzy on the storm I tried about 5 of them and

I would tend to think it's hardware.

There is only so much improvement you can derive from the SW
