    I sure hope so...its only about 35% through 'connecting to device' and the device is basically off with the red indicator...my poor baby

    quick ?, at the screen where it says "application updates available" and then lists like brick breaker, word mole, and pretty much everything on the phone, is that normal? did you just select blackberry system software? this was probably already posted, just couldn't read through 18 pages, oh and good lookin out Don, you came through for sure
    check boxes that are grayed out are required...the rest is up to you

    Will we ever be able to get this version using a mac? Desktop manager doesn't work with my PC, I get an error message.

    yes its fine. You do not have to re-activate with verizon.

    Simply amazing...installed -- much more responsive. Still a little laggy on the options screen, but response from everything else is much much better. Accelerometer changes quick -- yay.

    Thanks for the answer guys i just wanted to make sure because this is my first time and i didnt want to loose my service parents out of town and its a pain for them to call verizon to do things

    everything worked fine for me as well. It started off a bit slow, I assume because everything was still initializing, but after about 2 minutes everything worked very well.
    Very happy with the update. Things were good before but do seem to be slightly quicker now. We'll see after using it for a day or so. After all, everything is better after a reboot anyway, right? Gonna take some time to actually test this.
