Thank you very much! I was so peeved about how doggedly slow this was that I was really tempted to sell it on eBay and go back to my BB8830. But now Mobatech tells me they'll have my checkbook app Storm-ready in 10-15 days and with your OS upgrade I may just hang onto this and see. Thanks sooo much!

Hello all I have installed this .75 update. It installed just fine however I am unable to sync or restore my backup. I am able to connect to DM with no problem. When I go to restore a backup or even just sync I get a "Communication error" or a "Failure to connect to device" The device is connected because DM can see it and I can browse the contents with no problems. Any ideas?? Thanks!

I just recieved the phone lastnight. I was obviously new to the phone, but could tell that it needed some tweaking. This helped and made my experience 100% better with it. Don you're the man!

How come my Storm doesnt have the update software link in options->advanced options.. Could it be because I installed applications (Facebook, Flickr) before I checked? In the instructions for updating the software via your phone, it says to not install any applications before doing so.. Need some feedback

I am trying to update to .75. When I kicked it off, my computer screen slowly faded to black and has been that way for over an hour. Also the phone has a black screen with a computer and phone on it. Does not look like any activity. Did the phone brick? Any help would be appreciated.

have you tried moving your mouse? sounds like your monitor just went into powersaving mode OR your monitor died

lol...well I have tried to move the mouse, no go. Also the monitor was working fine until I clicked on the update to kick it off. Kinda weird. I don't want to reboot my computer because I don't want to brick my phone.... just curious if anybody else had this happen to them.
