Worst case scenario - if the install for some reason goes bad and you monkey things up, you can always fix it... check out these instructions:

Ok I am hitting the one hour mark stuck at the 9500.cod.. What ramifications will I face if I hit the Cancel button. Something had to gone wrong along the way. I don't understand how it could sit at this spot for almost an hour..
do and ALT + TAB and see if something is open and has been hidden. Also try opening the task manager and see if it is not responding.

Also this week, the App store should have over 50 applications added, along with a new version of the Facebook App.
    Source to this?

This is a good first start. That's all the kudos they get from me. This fixed the superficial lagginess of the device, however just seeing my screen jump in a split second is not enough. I still need a whole laundry list of things corrected inclucing the call screen disabled while holding the phone to to my ear on a call. Plus my phone is still laggy and it already locked up within the first five minutes using it. And this was after a battery pull...

OK, just confirmed that my phone did take the upgrade. I can't say the accelerometer is any quicker (but then I never had a problem before either), nor the camera, but it does seem a bit quicker opening and closing other apps. The important thing is I didn't kill it!

Hi. FYI. I followed the instructions (including removing the vendor file). It said that the installation was successful. However, it was still .65. I wiped my blackberry and restored it. I put the vendor file back in the correct folder. I uninstalled and re-installed the update. I then re-installed the update. Success. Version 4.7.0.75 (Platform 4.0.0.94). Thanks don and everyone for your help.
