Lol. Ha ha. I sometimes look back at all of my schooling and wonder why people have such a hard time with the English language. Honestly its not really THAT hard.

I agree it's not that hard, but the English language is the hardest language to learn. I assume they were talking about non-Engish speaking people trying to learn it but sometimes I believe they were talking about some of the people on here!

It will drop when it drops. It won't matter if you have a leak or not, the crackberry nation will find a way for us to load the new OS when it comes out. No Worries!

Well im sure since everyone knows about the whole ROM flashing thing that they will all downgrade to .75 first before updating
Not everyone ... IOW, as a noob, exactly what will need to be done if your phone is on something other than .75 prior to installing VZW' official release when it does come out?

    TIA ...

What does This mean? Your grammar is so poor I am having trouble understanding what you are tying to say.

what I am saying is that verizon storm users should not have downloaded leaked OS update or using other carrier like bell .122 in the first place. I have seen many storm users have problems after using this updates in the forums. so why bother downgraded to .75 then upgrade any newer updates so it sounds to me it is a waste of time with this thing all the time. best is wait till any carrier have officially release update then storm users can go ahead to upgrade new ones rather go downgrades then upgrade all the time.

I don't think it is necessary to always downgrade to .75 first. I certainly haven't.

Say what??? Who is downloading to .75 and then upgrading? Obviously you haven't any idea how installing a new OS works.

Cx has confirmed that Verizon has an official certified and ready to go, whether it's .141 we'll have to wait and see.

That's what I thought...I was talking to a friend and he said he never had to downgrade before upgrading to a new leaked OS. I think what this person is trying to say is that you probably have to downgrade to the official OS (.75) before upgrading to a new official OS. I don't see how it's a waste of time if people have been running a leaked OS and having less problems with their Storm. It would at least balance it out and make it worth having to downgrade to .75 before upgrading to a new official. Anyway I have yet to try a leaked OS myself...and if this rumor doesn't end up being true like every other one then I may give 132 to a shot.

Well, I can understand your point of view; however, mine is different.

Verizon, for better or worse, was taking half of forever to release a new OS. Their latest official, .75, basically sucked. So, the question for many people became, "do I spent some time updating my OS to an unofficial release--even if it means downgrading later on so that I can install an 'official' release--or do I put up with the crappiness of .75 for who knows how long?"

For me, and many others, it was well worth the investment of an hour or so to upgrade to unofficial/off-carrier releases--warts and all--so that I did not have to put up with the crappiness of .75.

Just my opinion. Others might vary.

I see problems everywhere I look. That doesn't mean I should just wait for God to solve them. Perhaps, I should try to solve them with other resources that are available to me. If there is an alternative to something then human nature will compel most of us to try it. Especially people like me who had 3 -4 restarts daily with .75 and not one after upgrading. I bet your real fun at a party. Sorry, I'm getting carried away.

To put it nicely, you have no idea what you're talking about. I wouldn't normally have problem with that, but your misinformation is really going to trip other people up.

You can wipe and install an OS with ease and without concern for the health of your device. Just do a little research in the forums so you know the proper steps.

BGR is usually pretty reliable when saying things. Whether its .141 that is released or another OS, it will probably be today or tomorrow.

BGR also said that VZW was going to make .113 official by 3/31 too. Pretty reliable.?. I would hate to find out what they claim to be exactly correct. Maybe they have the inside tech guy who is programming Obama's Blackberry.

Funny, I was thinking the opposite. During the day they'll get a small dribble, ramping up their servers for the evening slam.
