I didn't have to mind you I am on TELUS.. Upon rebooting i recieved a txt from telus saying: Thanks for registering etc. It was automatic for me.. dont take my word for VZW though!
Yeah, i should have asked that first...I noticed other people have mentioned they've done it with VZW, did any of you have problems with this? Thanks

desktop manager would not recognize the .113 to install. when i connected to the net it also showed up recommending .75, but underneath that was 4.7.0.161 and then the version was 4.7.0.113. DM didnt recognize the software on my comp, so f it. that was a sign saying "don't install this". ill wait.

Need some help. I'm trying to update. Currently i'm running .75. I've downloaded .113 and installed it, but desktop manager doesn't recognize that an update is needed. i check the device and its still says .75. I go to update is says no update needed in desktop manager. I'd do the install manually but i cannot tell where the files installed to. I don't see there anythere in the RIM folder.
    Anyone?

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one having this issue.... I just wish I could figure out how to make it work. I love the 114 hybrid...but 113 sounds better!

I'm coming from .114 V1 and have been using .113 for 24 hours now. Overall performance seems to be improved but my battery was completely drained after 11-12 hours.
Now ... keep in mind.... my first week with .114 V1 also yielded poor battery life and as the week went on, it seemed to improve significantly as the days passed.
I expect it to have the same results with .113. It would be a shame to have well performing OS with poor battery life (see iPhone).

I had this problem after loading one of the hybrid OS's. Try a battery pull or 2. Might help.

Haha. Agreed. BB mutations? maybe we all have undetectable AI's built into our phones that RIM is going to use to take over the world...

On a side note, tried many battery pulls and have tried to restore from the two backup files i have about 2 times each.. Going to open up file in notepad and look maybe if you just delete the Calendar all part itll work out? not sure..

I get tne stupid spinning clock in this version much more than I ever did in .75. Think I'm going back. I can't stand that thing.

Do a battery pull and let it sit for a while. This may take 1 or 2 times to iron out.

Well I upgraded to .113 from .99 and already I am very pleased with the results... everything is faster, memory available is larger, camera speed is a big change... and the return of stereo bluetooth in video mode is awesome...
I would agree with most that this is by far the best OS yet...

Did you have to do anything special to activate your services again after you upgraded the OS. I got a message at the top saying that and I didn't want to upgrade until someone else had done that.
I didn't do anything different to activate my service again. All Text messages/emails/calls/etc. were working perfectly after the upgrade. Also all my contacts, applications, settings and everything else was installed and working perfectly. Also the theme I was running was still loaded and active after the upgrade was complete. Good luck.
