New to Crackberry, first post. I'm here in Roanoke, VA EAGERLY anticipating Friday morning! I was watching football when I decided to start converting some movies and videos for the storm...but I'm not sure what resolution settings to use so I can utilize all that screen real estate.

Converting to .wmv w/ Roxio Media Creator 10...any ideas?

Just a note as i stumbled across your post looking for the same topic. I downloaded the mediacoder iphone/ipod edition (freeware) and used their standard h.264 encoder with really good results. not the exact resolution (480x320, not 360) but it works and looks really good. I was having difficulty getting other video formats to work and the roxio software that ships with is appears to be garbage for the most part (wont work at all on my xp pro machine, slower than molassas on my vista). I am trying the ipod hires video H.264 settings on a movie now to see how it works. will let you know how that works.
