I DO NOT recommend using them, but if you can't get away from those 6.0 files, here's a handful you may add as you choose. has anything from .31 to .100 and in between.
Loading, think I got a random 507 error, but it's still attempting to load software.....never seen this before out of all the times I've loaded hybrids.
While loading this, it said it was going to downgrade the browser. I was using the 832 hybrid prior to this. Any reason why the browser is downgrading? I liked the speed of 832. Thanks.
Load was successful. Screen clicks better than the previous. Might report on battery etc. in the next few days. The browser is very slow though compared to the .7xx hybrid. I forgot the # of it but 2 hybrids before this one the browser .cod was lightning fast.

Biggest issue is when I download Telus service books the bootup takes longer. The black loading screen is about 3 minutes and then the white Telus carrier screen is displayed for about 15 minutes.
If I use BlackBerry Desktop Manager to delete all service books the carrier logo screen only flashes for a second or two. Sending (or restoring) service books brings the lengthy bootup back again.
Haven't experienced this before but it really 'settled in' and has become one of my favourites yet.
One thing I've never been able to do with this phone is use the screen without holding the phone in my hand. I am now able to dial and do anything with the phone sitting on my desk - I've had the phone since December and its never been able to properly do this.
In text messages and BBM, I notice that hitting the escape key while typing a message will no longer delete text - it only closes out the application. I liked it better when this would quickly delete the text.
Even knowing the phone won't get OS6 I would be happy as is with the addition of the webkit browser.
Overall very laggy, and the browser is misbehaving. I got some error message that looked like a cod was missing when first opening the browser but can't replicate the message.
On m.crackberry.com I can only see below the "latest blog posts" line and the purple background of the top banner. Any thoughts about how to fix? I'm hoping I can just BBSAK in a missing cod.
EDIT: I tried to BBSAK in all of the browser cods from the 748 hybrid I was using previously. Still had the same problem. Rolling back to .748 now.
EDIT: Well, this is f***ed up. Wiped, reloaded 748 hybrid and the problem remains. I'll try uninstalling, re-installing 713 base then .748 hybrid.
EDIT: My memory is bad. It was the .743 hybrid. Anyway, I decided to take a change on the 832 since I was reinstalling 713 base, and everything is good.
