Install the OS Base/Radio for your device, and replace the java folder for that OS with the hybrid files.

    Wipe, install, enjoy

::::OOAKDPC .748 for the 95X0 (.4xx Radio Version)::::

.4xx radio version - Should show .580 in Help-->About screen

Install the .4xx os of your choosing for your device, replace the files in the java folder with the hybrid files and install.

Before you can load up the os, you need to type a command into the BlackBerry.alx file so all the files will load properly.
I have premade the alx file, so all you need to do is download it and put it in the os folder with the rest of the alx files.

You may download the alx file here:

The problem is in the blackberry.alx file, its too old and does not tell DM to add this file into the install.

If you take the net_rim_bbapi_sharing.cod from the hybrid and load it on to your phone through bbsak it should be away.

You can also go into the blackberry.alx and add the file name in there and it will then install automatically.

Just drop it in the OS folder with the other alx files.

    Download it here:

    http://www.greg-gorbos.com/OneOfaKin...kBerry9500.rar -rar/zip -9500

    http://www.greg-gorbos.com/OneOfaKin...kBerry9520.rar -rar/zip -9520

    http://www.greg-gorbos.com/OneOfaKin...kBerry9550.rar -rar/zip -9550

Anyone, who loads the 4XX version over .428, you will receive a "Data Exception Error".
To fix this, load the attached cod's into the OAK's java prior installation.

    http://forums.crackberry.com/attachm...-error-fix.zip

If you already loaded this without these cod's, just use BBSAK and load them up.

Everything looks good so far here. I have a theme so even if the half an icon is a problem, it won't be much trouble for me. Loving all the updates. Going from .697 update, so hoping to see a huge boost up.

I didn't know it was fixed in that build!

I got frustrated and stopped after .699 and was just dealing with it.

The reason I installed this over .428 is because that radio was great on my storm with T-Mobile. .517 is not an option for me as I had bad signal with

Everything works great after i applied the fix in post #11.
Restored my applications and data, the battery discharge rate started with 18.3%/hour dropped in about 15 minutes to 11%/hour. I am sure it will keep dropping in a day or so. and settle at lower rate.

So far so good. I feel so comfortable with it. Finally got a 4XX version without any problem.

    Thanks OAK.

Nope! Never mind! Launching phone then backing out still makes word completion turn back on. Back to being annoyed.

Whats the significant difference from the 732 Hybrid I just loaded yesterday?

The 732 Hybrid still has some keyboard lag for me. I'm told by VZW reps that my intermittent lag issues are all the emails (and attachments) kept on my phone. At least I've noticed that if I click on a date I have an option to "Delete Prior" which helps clean things up. The keyboard feels real nice on 732.

Sure hope OS6 drops soon. The OS5 .607 base is need of an update real bad.

Thanks OOAKDPC for all your hard work in cooking these hybrids up! RIM should pay you...I'd be "Incredible" by now if it wasn't for your hybrids.

Memory dropped 1 MB in 4 hours.
Battery life is superior with moderate use at 1.2%/ hour with .428/.748.
It is not as fast as .607 but everything works like a charm.

I think that my storm will spare me the overnight charge if it keeps this 0.8%/ hour discharge rate. I am running in the background: Meterberry, Berryweather, and Ubertwitter.

    This is really amazing.

Just installed this afternoon. Running great so far. Meterberry says 0.5 MB drop since startup, even with the crappy FB app, BeWeather Free, YouMail, and SmrtGuard. Everything seems to run faster than 705, so far so good. Thanks OOAKDPC

    Wow, another hybrid release!

I was starting to test the .732 (Only issue was the battery, i had a discharge rate of 12.5% -average on other hybrids is around 5-7%-) and now i have loaded this new .748.

    Thx OneOfaKindDPC

    Peace

Wow, I envy you . Are you using the original battery? You have good 3G signal all the time?

Mine is averaging 4% per hour. I have 451 base .where did you get the 428 base?
