Ha. I'm downloading it now. Really the only issue I have that really bothers me with .713, and it is really an S2 problem I believe, is the poor battery life. Give me a hybrid that will make it through an 18 hour day and I'm good.

Oh no you don't, I'm downloading it too, ha! I will, for once, be on that "cutting edge!"
P.S. I just don't think you will ever get that long of battery life out of a smartphone...they just require too much juice to run the apps, phone calls, emails, etc.
I agree with that - download and install went OK, now re-registering some apps (this takes forever), redid my BerryWeather Wallpaper (another pain everytime I update), deleting and reinstalling MeterBerry, etc. I will give it a couple days to "settle-in" (whatever the heck that means), and see how memory and battery life go. My amount of memory seems to have increased. Getting a couple Java exception errors. Battery Pulls here I come.
ALSO: OOAK, thank you for all of your work on the Hybrids...we really do appreciate it!
Had just returned to base 713 after trying a couple of "other" hybrids. Both of them caused some issues, such as BT sound, slower browser, and the base 713 was horrible for battery life. Have already tried bluetooth and browser and the difference is fantastic! Now, I will watch Meterberry for battery life and let you know tomorrow or the next day. Add my thanks for your efforts.....just don't be so long next time!
I'm just using the full .741 java and its been very nice so far. Lyricidal said the differences in the .741 and the .743 java files was negligible, so I probably won't load this one (PROBABLY not anyway). But if this is like the .741 files I think the battery life is improved, BT still sounds fantastic (through a quality earpiece anyway), gained a couple megs of memory, but nothing to write home about. I also haven't had the robotic voice during calls, but that may be coincidence. I didn't have it for the first few days on straight .713 and it finally reared it ugly head. I think this hybrid will be the same, because I seriously doubt that call quality bugs can be fixed with java files. I think we will need a different radio file to combat the robotic bug.

Installed last night and I'm already loving this - Meterberry shows 1.4%/hr drain. Text selection is much more accurate - the best by far. This was my only remaining issue with S2 performance. Definitely worth the wait - thanks again, OOAK!
Ok, I have had this running for 3 days now and find it to be very stable, better battery life, and LOW memory leaks. I haven't found any apps I use that don't "play nice" with it. Phone does not sound tinny and volume seems high. Speakerphone sounds great. As usual, nice work, OOAK, thanks!
The robotic issue making me switch back to 607 but is there any way to get the word completion/spell check to be the same as the 713 version that displays left/right instead of the 607 version that displays up/down?
No voice problems on my phone. Browser seems to lag a little bit when the page is about 90% loaded. I'm not sure if this is a network issue, though. After 12.5 hours I'm at 77% with a few brief calls, light e-mail, browsing and a few tweets. By far the best build ever for me.
I've only owned my Storm 2 for a couple days, but it came with the stock .713 software and I couldn't get through a day without the battery dying. Installed this Hybrid OS and now either my battery meter is broken or I really am getting amazing battery life
