.4xx radio version - Should show .580 in Help-->About screen
Install the .4xx os of your choosing for your device, replace the files in the java folder with the hybrid files and install.
Before you can load up the os, you need to type a command into the BlackBerry.alx file so all the files will load properly.
I have premade the alx file, so all you need to do is download it and put it in the os folder with the rest of the alx files.
You may download the alx file here:
The problem is in the blackberry.alx file, its too old and does not tell DM to add this file into the install.
If you take the net_rim_bbapi_sharing.cod from the hybrid and load it on to your phone through bbsak it should be away.
You can also go into the blackberry.alx and add the file name in there and it will then install automatically.
Just drop it in the OS folder with the other alx files.
Download it here:

05-25-10 08:22 PMLike 0 - Great job on this, but I'm having an issue. The dreaded App Error 523 after almost loading 100% perfectly. I get to "Verifying Security Software" and the status bar shows 100%, but the BB hangs completely for about 2-3 min......crash! APP ERROR 523 Done it twice now.
Any suggestions for a quick recovery?
I installed this over .607
I did shrink the OS beforehand.
I did a complete wipe as I always do.
I copied this file into the root of my 607 folder (other .alx files)
http://www.greg-gorbos.com/OneOfaKin...kBerry9550.rar -rar/zip -9550
Any help is appreciated.

If you want to install the .607 version, then
1. remove the current .607 from your PC because it has the new java that was thought for the .607 and the wrong blackberry.alx that was thought to be drop in the .4XX version folder.
2. Install the official .607 on your PC.
3. download the .607/705 hybrid. unzip it.
4. open the .607 java folder on your pc and remove everything in it.
5. copy all the cod's from the unzipped hybrid into the .607 java folder on your pc.
6. wipe your BB using BBSAK and then hit the run loader.05-25-10 10:53 PMLike 0 - This file belongs to the .4XX hybrid and not the .607. That was your mistake.

1. Removed .607 from pc
2. Remove .517 from pc
3. Rebooted
4. Installed .607 - deleted java contents
5. Unzipped 705 hybrid files into java folder
6. Loaded new Shrink-a-OS.exe - shrunk OS
7. Run loader.exe as admin and I'm stuck.....I'm getting little or no response on "connecting to device" on apploader.
Remember, I'm still in APP ERROR 523 mode too.
Any ideas?05-25-10 11:36 PMLike 0 -
What a mess I've created.
Standby & I'll give you the all clear when it's done.05-25-10 11:42 PMLike 0 - OK, I'm back up and running with a solid OS. Thanks for all the help boys!
Next issue - I lost all my apps! I did a backup of 3rd party apps and I have the .alx file with all the .cods, but DM won't recognize it, nor restore the apps.
Error message: "No additional applications can be found. Your file might contain applications that already exist in the app list, are not compatible for your device, or have errors."
Tell me you guys have a work around.............please!05-26-10 12:28 AMLike 0 - OK, I'm back up and running with a solid OS. Thanks for all the help boys!

- .705 unshrunk working like a charm. I really think those pearl files give the 9550 a speed boost when multitasking.05-26-10 07:04 AMLike 0
- Just out of curiousity, does it make a difference if you delete the java and paste the new rather than just pasting over top of the old and clicking replace and yes to all? If that makes sense...
