Yeah I just notice that it worked fine before I did a batt pull and now I get the same bs as before even with the .669 hybrid

This is the entire .669 Java folder with a few 612 files to make it all work.

Will show .669 in the Help-->About screen


9550 - Install 607, replace the files in the .607 java folder with the hybrid files and install.

9520 - Install 612, replace the files in the .612 java folder with the hybrid files and install.

Ok, just finished installing:

- phone screen does not hang when trying to disconnect from a call.
- received exception error when hit network options for the first time, but no more later.
- power off button works.
- with keyboard open in portrait, when switching to landscape, the keyboard stocked first time, but now it seems to be OK.
- Overall, it looks to be pretty fast.

Will see how is battery life after a day or so.

Ok, Im still confused as this is my first go at a hybrid. I have just downloaded the unshrunk RAR file and all it contains to me is a load of files which is my guess the .669 java folder. What do i actually do with it from there? Put them files in the .497 OS folder i have on my pc?

On another note, does the lock screen seem to work correctly now?

Go to C: > Common Files > Research In Motion > Shared > OS folder. Once you're there, you replace all the files in the "Java" folded with the files you just extracted from OAK's download.

After that, shrink it if you want with Shrink-A-OS, and load it up with the loader.exe.

well, i modified the 664 version myself and got everything works except the mobile network option. now, i am too lazy to find which file is causing the problem.. lol..

Mobile network option shows an error, I couldn't log on to the network. I had to revert to .507.

On the official release i have form VFUK, when you lock the screen, it doesn't show the lock screen anymore it just shows whatever screen you last used, also the the tilting still works when moving the handset.

Seeing as you have the 9520, why don't you just try the full .669 leak? I don't see where this hybrid is going to be better.

the file causing the problem is net_rim_bb_options_app.cod


The problem is finding a replacement that will allow the options to open and get the mobile network options to show up.

As far as the lock screen...everything post-.497 works the same. If you click the lock/power button up top, it instantly locks the screen (makes it go dark and unclickable). If you use a password and set a convenience key to device lock, it locks the device with a password, and gives you the lock screen background, but does not lock the screen. This is exactly how my old 8330 worked, which is how I like it.

I just downloaded the .rar file its about 29,6MB but when I extract i it become only 25,5Mb contain, contain 191 items, it weird.
Am I download the exact file in the first page?

OOAK.......find a fix for iheart radio. Even though I can't fool with the network settings, the phone still calls out.........but iheart won't connect

I have stayed away from 607 based hybrids thus far. I am considering jumping on one, but I have one question. Do any of them fix the Bluetooth volume and answer issues?
