One year contract
Hi, I got my Storm on November 21st and haven't had any problems with it. Love the phone, love Blackberries, love Crackberry.
When I got my phone and was signing my contract, I saw that it was only $70.00 more to sign up for the 1 year contract versus the 2 year contract. I did the 1 year contract because the Storm was a new phone and I wasn't sure how it would work out. Like I said, I haven't had any problems with my phone, though from reading Crackberry I see where a lot of other people have. I also signed up for the extended warranty through assurion.
I know whats done is done when I signed the 1 year contract, and I'm fine with that, just curious if other people signed up for only 1 year? Was there any REAL advantage to going 1 year, or did I waste my $70.00?
Thanks.

you can leave verizon in a year without paying if you want to... that's the only real advantage in my opinion. even 2 year contracts can upgrade phones after 1 year (for a fee).

The biggest advantage to a 1 year is you can a new phone in 10 months at contract price, where on a 2 yr its every 20 months.
on a 2 yr you can also do a annual upgrade though, but under certain factors
