im about to make the huge leap from .75 to .109. i know what i have to do and everything but im worried about potential bricking
Is there a way to unbrick the storm with 100% success? is it easy to do it?
seriously dude......stop stressing and do it, the more you freak out about it the more likely you are to mess with something or take some dumb precaution and brick your phone. It's 2 simple clicks of the mouse, just do it already.
Just do it, I was kinda sketchy my first leaked OS too. I went ahead with it, without reading any directions (i don't recommend that now) and everything was great. I haven't looked back sense.
You'll sweat bullets the first time you do it. Just follow all the instructions to the tee. Keep multiple tabs open with all the different pages for referance while your disconnected from the net while its doing its thing incase you need to look somthing up. You shouldn't have to downgrade when an offical comes out because it will be a higher number like .118 for example. Now go upgrade your berry and be a man you'll love it afterwards, I almost promise lol

my best advice for you is this, BE PATIENT through the process... it will take awhile and have you scratching your head wondering if the thing got stuck... just leave it be and let it do it's thing, and you won't be disappointed... I'd be willing to bet that anyone who b"vricked" their storm upgrading did not wait for the process to finish properly, and yanked the sync cable out to pull the battery...or something along those lines...

yeah go for it dude...honestly its real easy, just follow the steps and you'll be good....plus everyone on here is really helpful so dont stress meng....i just upgrade from .76 to .109, and its the best thing ever....so much better
okay...when i connected my storm and opened the DM, it says i have updates available for my apps, i canceled that and i went to update and i disconnected from the internet and i didnt see anything about .109. all i saw were the updates for all the apps and files on my storm...help?
