I asked some dude on the street whether or not the Storm was getting a new official operating system this month, and he said he would tell me whatever I want as long as I gave him some change. So I invested 53 cents, and he said that we'd be getting a new "official operation sorter" this month. I believe him. Hes legit, right?

It's real this time people. I just went to Verizon today because I was having trouble with my Storm (Go figure) and the women said and I quote, "There is going to be an official update coming out this month which will probably fix alot of the problems you are having." There it is folks; straight from an employee; now lets just pray that it will be as good as everyone hopes it will

HAHAHA....I was in VZ corp store about a moth ago and there was a guy in there bi**hin about his Storm and was demanding they take it back and give him another model. I sat right there and listened to the VZ rep say there was going to be an update in guess what?? 2weeks! She said the update was sure to fix his problems and he fell for it and walked out with his Storm in hand. I just had to laugh because I knew that he would be back in 2 weeks and 1 day with no update.

Wow. You got off easy. Last time I had a chance encounter like that, I took a shot in the mouth hoping for new info on an OS. The guy told me it would be .113 in two weeks.

Oh, well... at least I had Scope handy. Lesson learned.

one of our Verizon data specialists told us today that 141 just failed lab testing ... i wanted to say that i'd know that for like a week, but i figured i'd be nice. they have been saying that it will be out "this month" since January so don't get your hopes up too high.

1) that guy you're referring to is a complete 7001. lab testing is 1st step, network testing is 2nd, then friendly user testing. friendly user testing is the last step. lab testing was a long friggin time ago.

2) i posted a thread last thursday a.m. about .141 failing friendly user testing.

I got an email today from the VZW rep, saying that they were going to have a new release pushed in one week, and they needed secret testers for the new OS. I asked what I needed to do, and they said they would even PAY me for helping them debug the OS. Well, they sent me a Cashier's check, but they sent me too much money, so they asked me to wire the difference back to a representative. When I went to Western Union to send the extra money back, I was hit over the head and woke up in a bathtub filled with ice and I noticed stitches where my kidneys should be. On the mirror was written in lipstick "Call 911! Now!"


But I couldn't because I never got the new OS pushed on my phone! AAAARRRGGGGHHHHHH!
