I will, but I forgot to mention it will not download (for me at least) through the installed Browser no matter what mode it is in (IE, FireFox, or BB). I used Opera Mini (4.2) and worked like a charm.

Hmm...it actually works now! Strange. The GPS still doesn't want to work on my phone but thats not an issue with Weatherbug. It won't work with BB Maps either.

The GPS would not run for me either, however it works on BB Maps with my Storm.

I have no problem with the current version of weatherbug, unless there is some dramatic changes in the new version I think I am going to continue and run the one I have.

Those with issues with your gps... have you set your location setting to "location ON" in the GPS menu?

Also, if I have the beta version of the weatherbug app, is it the same version just made "official." should I delete my current one and install the official one?

Was there something not functioning in the last version? I installed about a week ago and it seems fine .. but maybe there is something i didnt try and its not functioning?

yes but this white bar shows up at the top of the screen. the application itself, I think, is working fine otherwise. I have deleted the app for now as I can't stand the white bar (i'm anal like that ). I have also tried disabling compatibility mode and i've also allowed all permissions.

Downloaded 274, turned on GPS, but Weatherbug does not find My Location. Any other settings needed?

I downloaded it last week when I got my Storm - I just went into the app > About > Check for Updates and it told me I had the latest version. So nothing new here - 274 is the latest.

Same thing here.....I D/L the beta version (.274) on 2 Strom's yesterday and both of them work just fine......tired to retrieve update, and nothing was found.

@ OP.....post the version of your official weather bug app that you D/L. Mine is 0.1.0.274. Please let us know if yours is the same.

The release notes say you can hold your finger at any location on BB Maps for 2 seconds and it will give you the current weather for that location. I can't seem to get that to work. Anyone else have any luck?

Go to options/advanced/gps and make sure gps is on.....other than that you should be good. Oh and another thing I did after install I updated roaming capabilities and did a reboot. I usually always reboot after a app install. Try that

Also when its locating give it a while as its slow but will eventually find your location and display weather for where you are located.

I cannot get a .jad file to load into my BB Storm. I downloaded the release version from Weatherbug and tried the Desktop Manager, it only sees the "a" file types. I could not get the browser to see the page, even when I changed the browser type. Finally I emailed the file to the blackberry address and tried to load it that way. It tried but failed.

I'm a BB newbie, spent the last 10 years with Palm so be gentle.
