I was right : I mistakingly overwrited the .90 file by .106 file, with .90 name.
It installed, and now I start load it into the device

3. russian/english language reading and writing : english & french only
4. music playing : OK, sound perfect
5. try to call : not tried
5a. try to sms : OK
6. camera saves : yes. Music stops when activating and taking shots, Camera is quick
7. quick on browsing ? : didn't have time
8. full keybord in portrait : yes
9. quick on portrait/landscape switch ? : yes

What is color banding ?

Basically it comes down to looking like it's only 256k colours. Doesn't happen with pictures, though. Only the buttons and media screen.

I second that.

As soon as you turn it on, the screen is there with instant connection to the network.
Camera works with 'minimal' delay.
Instant portrait/landscape mode.
Screen lock still has approx 2 sec lag, screen unlock is instant.

Ive upgraded from .90 as I didnt like .100

Up to now its looking very good
