I'm coming from 103 and this 109 is kicking **** and it's lightening fast!

Slacker runs great, I can send pix and receive, I got rid of the sample pix and wallpapers, videos run great, all my 3rd party apps check out and so far my memory is @ a strong 45mb.

It's so smooth and quick! WOW I thought 99 was the best and I took a chance with 103 and it made me want 75 again!

Yep, did a battery pull. Maybe I should clarify, I actually like the way it looks, just posting a finding. if this "corrects" itself I'll actually be sad.

Like I said, I had never been able to get that image to load, it was always an option, but it would never load. Now it loads and I didn't select it, i have AppleBerry selected. Go figure

kris .. it's a bit too soon to tell. If you're unsure, give it a couple of days.



Have you done a battery pull yet? If not, give it a try. If you have, then to to the applications screen, bbkey>options>reset homescreen image. Hope that works out for ya.

I notice that there are several Branding Versions around for 109. The OP has 1.0.105.46, someone else has 1.0.109.110 and I have 1.105.33.

What gives with the different Branding versions? All have v4.7.0.109 (Platform 4.0.0.136).

Any thoughts?

What's the difference between .109 hybrid and .109 beta?

On my About screen all the 4.7.0.109 info is the same as this thread except for the Branding Version-my number is 1.0.105.212 yours is 1.0.105.46. Anybody know what the difference is.

Why is my branding verison different than what was posted? My screen shot is the one with the red rectangle around the branding version.

Like the others said, the brand version will vary from device to device.
The branding version has to do with carrier ID and location of where the phone was flashed to become a specific model number. The branding version is composed of three parts. The first part of the branding version (1.0) is the version number. The next part (105) is the verizon carrier id. The last part (xxx) is the location where it was manufactured and flashed. Together they display as 1.0.105.xxx.

ive noticed so far that the .109 hybrid lock time was a lot shorter than .109 beta. it doesnt bother me too much. so far i enjoy this one. and to the person that got my hopes up with the flick scrolling...thanks for getting my hopes up. ******.

Smoother transitions though the fade effect STILL needs to go/change/speed up. Typing still laggy but probably less than half as bad now. Accelerometer is definitely faster than .103

Perhaps you missed my earlier post about this. Branding version DOES NOT COME FROM THE OS. Branding version comes from your hardware (or rather the low level software that controls the hardware).
